A message from the League Executive regarding the Premier Division, Public Liability and goal scorers.

Premier Division

Due to withdrawal of Avoca FC & Arklow Celtic from the Premier League, the division has only 8 teams. As a result, no relegation from the Premier Division will apply for next season. However, the teams finishing First and second in Division One this season will be promoted automatically to the Premier Division next season. All other promotion/relegation for Division One & Three will apply for next season with automatic relegation of bottom two teams in Division One and promotion of top two teams from Division Three.
As a result of only 8 teams playing in Premier Division, we will run a Shield competition for those teams finishing in top four and a Shield competition for those finishing in bottom four. Details to follow.

Public Liability Insurance

Can all Clubs please forward copies of Public liability insurance to John Shea at johnsheawicklowleague@gmail.com with immediate effect. Clubs not providing same will have no fixtures and run the risk of having game and match points awarded to opposition.

Goal Scorers

Can you please provide goal scorers with results going forward and for last week please. It is the Leagues intention to have a goal scorer table on the website for each Division going forward.
